The Goal
Your goal is to build structures on the map in a way that earns the most points.
Each structure scores differently, and most depend on support from others.
The ideal kingdom achieves 2 points per build, but this is not always possible.
The challenge is not building everything, it’s choosing what to build, and where.
The Map
Each puzzle is played on a map composed of squares and triangles:

Some maps include terrain features:

The Structures
There are four types of structures you can build:

- Crown — royal palaces
- Knight — military forts
- Town — trade and civic centers
- Farm — fields and common holdings
Each structure is made from three connected shapes.
Building Structures
To build a structure:
- Find three unused shapes on the map
- Draw lines to mark the structure
- Do not cross solid black lines
Suggested method of marking the structures:

This map shows a constructed Town:

Values and Support
Each structure has a point value:
- Crown = 6 points
- Knight = 4 points
- Town = 2 points
- Farm = 1 point
Most structures only score if they are supported:
- Each Crown needs 2 Knights
- Each Knight needs 2 Towns
- Each Town needs 2 Farms
- Farms always score (no support needed)
Structures that do not score can still provide support to others.
Points are calculated after you finish building.
Terrain Bonuses
Terrain can provide free support and improve your final score.
- A Crown with its base on mountains gains a free Knight.
- A Farm touching a lake gains one free Farm.
On the map below,
the Crown on the North does not get a bonus,
the Crown on the SW scores a free Knight,
the Farm on the SE scores a free Farm.

Scoring Your Solution
Each puzzle includes a score form:

Follow these steps:
1. Build
Count each structure you built (including bonuses).
2. Support
Divide supporting structures by 2 (round down).
3. Record
Use the lower of Build or Support.
4. Score
Multiply by the structure’s point value.
Here is a sample completed score form:

Notice that if one less Town was built it would have been a perfectly balanced score.
Sometimes it’s better to build less structures to get the ideal 2 points per build.
Each puzzle rewards careful thinking, not guesswork.
